I called Hotwire on boxing day with a problem, and Rob troubleshot the problem over the phone, gave me instructions, and problem solved. I will be using Hotwire when I need an electrician.

I was a little disappointed with the outcomes and I expect it may have been due to the circumstances as well. I had requested a service as a main light had gone out,( classic fixes were a fail)I think my understanding was if I pay for the $100 assessment that there was going to be a solution in a timely manner. 5 dark days passed and I ended up having to manage it and spending over $300 plus install.I still recommend them for service as I have dealt with them before and perhaps growth has changed their customer service or it was just an oversight as I was a small job. I did bring it forward and they were kind enough to discount $20 from the assessment fee.

I phoned Robert Rickard at 1:30 am due to a power emergency in the 87 degree heat as the power went out ... The neighbor's homes were still lit up so I didn't assume it was anything other than the breaker box not resetting properly. Robert was prepared to dispatch someone to us to help but did suggest prior to doing so to call the BC Hydro emergency line check for outages, I was doubtful that it was a BC Hydro emergency problem due to the other homes still being lit up, but after calling the emergency line they said there was an outage in the neighborhood affecting all of Peachland and Summerland for over 5,000 customers. I Felt bad for waking him up at that hour but he was so gracious to help and with a 3-hour minimum at time and a half he could have made a bunch of money , but he wasn't worried about the money , he was more concerned about helping us this is the kind of business I like to support and if I have electrical problems in the future Hotwire electric will be my first call as they are the only people in West Bank Kelowna Peachland who answered their phone when they advertised 24-hour emergency service. Thank you again Robert for your excellent customer service I couldn't be more thankful!

Rob was amazing to deal with. He was super helpful and knowledgeable, and he was able to give me a quote in a timely manner. He also suggested ways I could try to fix the bathroom fan myself, where to get parts, as well as helped diagnose the issue we were having with our heating system over the phone - it was a simple fix of flipping the breakers on and off, and everything seems to be working fine now.I really appreciate that he helped me out over the phone and emails when he could have easily sent a tech out and charged me for it. I will definitely be calling him to replace my bathroom fan if I'm not able to swap the part myself. And will be keeping his number for any future electrical work I may need done.

I would highly recommend this business. Have used before and the response was excellent. Called today regarding a problem with my fuse box. The gentleman on the phone advised me of a fix for my problem. It worked. He could have sent a tech but chose to help me out. He was excellent. Great public relations move.

Rob answered my call after hours and scheduled an apt for two days later. Called when the tech was going to be an hour late to let me know (issues with job before outside of his control). The tech attended, worked diligently and left my wife and I very satisfied with the work that was done. Thanks Hotwire!
